Meet The Doctor
John F. Carpenter
Dr. Carpenter has conducted his dental practice in New Windsor since 1983. Throughout his career, he has emphasized continuing education. This allows him to treat his patients with the most advanced dentistry available. Dr. Carpenter has been involved with dental implantology since 1982. The doctor's goal is to allow his patients to achieve optimal dental health for a lifetime.
Dr. Carpenter has received a Fellowship from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He has received the Academy of General Dentistry’s Fellowship and Mastership Awards. Less than 1% of all dentists achieve this prestigious honor.
He is a member of multiple dental organizations including International Congress of Oral Implantologists, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Association of Functional Orthodontics. He is Past President of the Newburgh Dental Society and Education Chairman of the Ninth District Dental Society. Dr. Carpenter graduated from Boston College with a BS and an MS in Chemistry. He obtained his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Tufts University and completed a residency at Brookdale Hospital in New York City.
Dr. Carpenter and his wife, Susan, have two children. He enjoys family time, hiking, gardening and golf - when he has the time!
